Because every trip in the programme is priced on request rather than sold at a shelf rate, the more you can tell us at this stage, the more useful the first reply will be: your dates or the rough window, how many of you there are, whether children are travelling, how much walking you enjoy, and anything that is off the table — heat, early starts, long drives.

It also helps to say what you would rather avoid. Plenty of people write to us having already decided against the standard version of Kanchanaburi or Chiang Mai, and that is a perfectly good starting point for a conversation.
