Bangkok Beyond the Beaten Path
After your hotel pickup at 9:00 AM, you’ll travel like a real Bangkok local using public transport to reach the pier. You’ll board a traditional boat to explore the klongs (canals), discovering local life along the riverbanks. You’ll visit Wat Paknam Phasicharoen with its magnificent glass stupa, before uncovering a hidden gem, the Artist’s House, a unique riverside spot
A local lunch will be served to introduce you to the authentic flavours of Thai cuisine.
The afternoon is dedicated to exploring two fascinating districts on foot. You’ll stroll along Song Wat Road, once a major trade hub that has preserved its splendid colonial architecture and Sino-Portuguese shops. Today, it has transformed into a trendy hub with cafés and art galleries. You’ll then dive into the lively energy of Yaowarat Road, the heart of Chinatown, a paradise for food lovers and a vibrant cultural centre, famous for its gold shops and traditional medicine
