Trekking and survival in the mountains - elephant care.
With the trek Trek Survivor and elephants, first discover the forest and the mountain and their natural resources during a day of trek with an introduction to survival techniques, then during another day discover and take care the elephant.

5 hours walk in total
Start from your hotel in Chiang Mai at 7 h 30 AM.
Road to Mae Wang 1 h 30 min.
One hour trek in the bamboo forest.
The jungle is full of food. It's everywhere, but you have to choose it carefully, everything is not good to eat ... Search for bamboo and edible plants. Learning preparation techniques.
Observation and study of flora and fauna.
Learning primitive cooking in the jungle.
Lunch.
Speleology and bats observation in a cave. (30 min).
One hour jungle trek
Bathing and washing in a stream.
Trek to the top of the mountain (2h).
Tents installation at the top of the mountain.
The dinner will be composed using leaves, plants and herbs to cook in bamboo and banana leaves. It will be necessary to look for edible plants in the forest.

Breakfast tea and coffee in a bamboo cup.
Elephant camp
Trek 1 hour and 30 minutes to our Elephant Care Camp.
First approach of the elephants.
Preparing the meal for the elephants.
The riding of elephants is not practiced during this walk.
Learn how to feed them, get to know them, be at them side.
Lunch.
Enjoy watching these animals roam free.
Swimming and brushing the elephants in the river.
Walk in the nature near the elephant camp.
It is possible to take a bamboo raft ride. Contact us for any information.
