On the road to the elephant camp.
First approach of the elephants.

Learn how to feed them, get to know them, be at them side.
Lunch.
The riding of elephants is not practiced during this walk.
Enjoy watching these animals roam free.
Swimming and brushing the elephants in the river.
Walk in the nature near the elephant camp.
Dinner
Night at the camp in bamboo huts.
Or night in a guesthouse, room with air conditioning.
Day 2
Chiang Mai
Karen's life discovery trek
Meals
Trek d’environ 3-4 heures de marche.
Breakfast.
Departure from the elephant camp at 8 am.
On the way to the trek departure place. Approximately 1 h 30 min / 2 h of car.
The Khun Wang Royal - Chiang Mai project is located on Doi Inthanon. It was created in 2525. Its purpose is to try to grow crops at height, promote technology transfer and replace opium cultivation.
Departure of the trek around 10 am.
Swimming in the river.
The lunch consists of vegetables, stir-fried rice and an omelette wrapped in banana leaves.
The trek continues through passion fruit orchards before arriving at tea and coffee plantations where you can observe the different varieties.
You will be able to visit a small museum and get in touch with the villagers, especially children.

Pick-up trip to the Karen village where you will spend the night.
Dinner prepared with products grown on site.
Spectacle of magic and music.
The comfort is rather basic, the mattresses are not very thick, placed on the floor, the shower is traditional: a large was filled with cold water and a plastic pan, cold water obviously. This is how the Karen live in a beautiful environment.
Day 3
Chiang Mai
Meeting with the Karen, waterfall and rice fields discovery

Trek about 5 to 6 hours of walking
Breakfast.
Little walk to the village.
Meeting with the Karen and discovering local customs.
Only working days outside school holidays.
Departure of the trek around 9 am, 9.30 am
About 1h30 walk through rice fields and jungle.
Arrival at the first waterfall.
Walk on a small path along the river.
Arrival at a second waterfall.
Lunch at the edge of the waterfall.
The trek continues through passion fruit orchards before arriving at tea and coffee plantations where you can observe the different varieties.
Stop and swimming, about 40 minutes. The beach is in the middle of the jungle.
End of the trek.
It is possible to take a bamboo raft ride. Contact us for any information.
Return to your hotel in Chiang Mai. About 2 hours drive.
